You’ll collaborate with world-class engineers, product leaders, and RevOps experts to solve some of the hardest problems in billing and lifecycle management—from transaction scalability and data synchronization to new monetization models and AI-driven workflows. This role spans invoicing, collections, payment integrations, and financial data flows, with deep collaboration across Lifecycle Manager (CPQ), Dev Experience (Self-Service & Partner Billing Portal), Data and Integrations, and Nue AI (MCP & Agentic Services) to deliver a seamless, intelligent quote-to-revenue experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Define success metrics and use data to inform decisions, improve features, and guide roadmap evolution.
• Own the Billing & Collections Product Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for core billing capabilities — including invoicing, credit memos, collections, payments, and dunning — with a focus on scalability, accuracy, and global readiness.
• Integrate Seamlessly with Lifecycle Manager (CPQ): Ensure quoting and billing work hand-in-hand, supporting complex mid-term changes (upsells, price adjustments, co-terms, renewals, swaps) with seamless downstream billing and revenue recognition alignment.
• Drive Billing Portal & Dev Experience: Partner with the Dev Experience team to make billing APIs and portals first-class citizens in Nue’s self-service and partner-led motions, enabling extensible billing experiences without heavy engineering.
• Infuse AI & Agentic Workflows: Collaborate with the Nue AI team to expose billing capabilities as MCP tools and agentic actions—so chatbots and AI assistants can query, summarize, and act on billing data (e.g., invoice lookups, payment allocations, credit applications) in real time.
• Lead Payment Integrations: Define and prioritize integrations with leading payment gateways and processors, ensuring smooth collection workflows, reconciliation, and global payment support.
• Work closely with Engineering Leads to shape and execute the billing applications product roadmap.
• Collaborate with Professional Services to assist with billing implementation projects, ensuring smooth go-lives and successful customer outcomes.
• Drive new product adoption, gather customer feedback, and identify opportunities to expand usage within existing accounts.
• Diagnose product issues and work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve them quickly.
  

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer, or related areas.
  
• 5+ years of experience with SaaS product management, ideally within finance, billing payments or fintech.
  
• Familiarity with enterprise-grade billing systems, invoicing workflows, and payment integrations.
  
• Experience working with fast-paced engineering teams and driving execution across multiple stakeholders.
  
• Comfortable working with APIs, data models, and complex backend systems.
  
• Excellent communicator with the ability to bridge product, engineering, PS, and customer teams.
  
• Works well in distributed/global teams, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Proactive, accountable, and collaborative - no egos, just outcomes.
  
• Proficient with modern AI-powered productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Windsurf, Cursor, Glean, etc.).
  
• Able to strategically leverage AI for documentation, problem-solving, and customer workflows.
  
• Comfortable working in environments with AI-driven features like agentic services and chatbots.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce — including Sales Cloud and custom integrations, as Nue is natively embedded in Salesforce for quoting and customer lifecycle management.
• Knowledge of modern backend technologies such as Node.js and TypeScript, which power Nue’s microservices and APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, which hosts Nue’s billing and revenue lifecycle services at scale.
• Understanding of event streaming systems such as Kafka, which are critical for handling asynchronous billing events, transaction processing, and data synchronization.
  Domain experience in billing, payments, financial operations, or SaaS systems, with a strong grasp of subscription lifecycle, invoicing, collections, and revenue models.
